SAGECare Platinum
SAGECare provides training and consulting on LGBT aging issues to service providers. As a division of SAGE (Services & Advocacy for LGLBT Elders), SAGECare is part of the country’s largest and oldest organization dedicated to improving the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) older adults.
Andrus on Hudson is excited to have partnered with SAGECare to obtain LGBT aging cultural competency training. Our leadership team chose the platinum level, which is the highest level of training because we believe that all individuals should feel welcome and be able to access high-quality care. Very few healthcare facilities are credentialed in this area and we saw an opportunity to further enhance our person-directed services.
