Our pursuit of excellence is powered by innovation. Every solution we devise is underscored by a forward-thinking strategy that seeks to anticipate the needs of tomorrow. We challenge the status quo, embrace new ideas, and constantly look for ways to improve, ensuring that our nursing home community benefits from care that is as proactive as it is compassionate.

Atalante X - A new kind of rehabilitation
Andrus on Hudson is preparing to introduce the Atalante X very soon and we could not be more excited. Atalante X is a cutting-edge powered self-balancing exoskeleton designed to assist patients with severe gait and balance impairments. This advanced technology supports both upper and lower limb movements, as well as posture and balance reinforcement exercises, allowing patients to engage in multitasking activities while maintaining a safe, upright position.
The Atalante X enhances the EarlyGait treatment protocol, enabling acute patients to begin their rehabilitation journey earlier in the continuum of care. Its self-balancing feature and customizable walking patterns offer a tailored approach to mobility, significantly improving patient outcomes and advancing the future of therapeutic care.
EasyBoost Repositioning
Andrus on Hudson is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Seneca Devices, Inc. and the installation of the EasyBoost Repositioning System. This state-of-the-art technology is designed to assist caregivers in safely repositioning immobile patients within their beds, minimizing the risk of injury.
The EasyBoost Repositioning System offers numerous benefits for both patients and caregivers. For patients, it enhances comfort, dignity, and overall satisfaction by reducing friction and shear forces on the skin, thereby mitigating the risk of bed sores that can lead to infections.
For caregivers, the system significantly lowers the risk of back injuries associated with patient repositioning, streamlines the patient care workflow, and improves compliance with essential clinical protocols. Our investment in this innovative solution underscores our commitment to advancing patient care and fostering a supportive and efficient work environment for our dedicated employees.
A.rtistic I.nspirations
Andrus on Hudson is proud to continue its tradition of innovation with the ongoing success of its resident AI-generated art project. This initiative, now established for several years, leverages artificial intelligence to create unique digital artwork that highlights the creative talents of our residents and patients.
The project is designed to foster creativity, collaboration, and a deep appreciation for the arts among our community members. By harnessing AI technology, we provide a meaningful platform for individuals—regardless of their artistic skills or physical and cognitive limitations—to express themselves and share their creativity with the broader community.
We invite you to explore our A.rtistic I.nspirations wall during your next visit to view the latest digital artworks produced through this inspiring program.
LiteGait
LiteGait provides postural control and weight-bearing assistance for fall-free therapeutic activities. It permits the therapist to be hands-free when working with patients of all functional levels and diagnoses, to focus on better quality and increased quantity of practice.
Telemedicine
Andrus on Hudson has been using telemedicine for a few years now and it has significantly enhanced the quality and accessibility of healthcare for our residents. It allows for instant access to specialists and medical consultations without the need for physical transportation, which is particularly beneficial for older adults or immobile patients. Additionally, telemedicine can lead to more timely interventions, reducing the risk of complications and improving patient outcomes by allowing for immediate medical attention whether someone is here for short-term rehab, long-term care or memory care purposes.
The Magic Table
The Tovertafel is an award-winning system created for memory care. In Dutch, Tovertafel translates to ‘’Magic Table‘’. It works by projecting images onto flat surfaces in the form of interactive games, which stimulate movement and social interaction. Our residents are experiencing the magic and having so much fun.
"This tool has impacted so many of our residents especially in our memory care area, and to be able to witness the engagement and magic has been nothing short of amazing." - AOH Employee
Robotics for Safety
At Andrus on Hudson, we are committed to continuous innovation and excellence in care. We believe that established practices, while valuable, are not always the ultimate or most effective solutions. We seek to explore and implement advanced tools and technologies to continually enhance outcomes in all aspects of our services.
We are actively investigating the use of robotic exoskeletons for our clinical and support staff as part of our commitment to improving safety and efficiency through innovative solutions. By embracing cutting-edge technologies, we aim to set new standards in care and operational excellence.
